💸 How much does it cost?

📚 Book Only – £24.99 + shipping

We’re a bi-monthly subscription, so the way it works is that payment is taken in month 1 and the box ships in month 2

E.g. payment 8th April, book ships Mid-End May.

 

🧠 What kinds of books do you include?

Only the wrong ones 😇

We focus on taboo, dark, and spicy romance - stepbrothers, priests, age gaps, morally grey men, stalkers, killers, the works. If it’s morally messy and makes you hide your Kindle in public, it’s on our list.

 

📚 Are the editions exclusive?

Absolutely. Each book is printed just for us with a custom cover, illustrated endpapers, digitally‑sprayed edges and a signed note or art card from the author. You won’t find this version anywhere else.

 

📊 What’s the 🤍🩶🖤 scale?

Every book comes with a Grayscale Rating — because your mental health matters, and so does choosing the right level of emotional damage.

Here’s the breakdown:

🤍 Grey – Taboo but tame: possessive, obsessive, jealous MMCs, age gaps, step-anything, but with some level of emotional safety.
🩶Dark Grey – Still toxic, but darker: manipulation, public kink, coercion, emotional instability, and relationships you wouldn’t admit to.
🖤  Black – No boundaries: dub-con, stalking, blackmail, degradation, captivity, extreme possessiveness.
🖤 🖤  Pitch Black – Full chaos: non-con, murder, villainous MMCs, and trauma you might need therapy for. No redemption arcs in sight.

You’ll see the emoji on each listing or teaser, so you can read responsibly (or not... we don’t judge).

 

🧾 Can I skip a box?

·         You can’t skip your first box

·         After that, skip or cancel any time before the next 7th‑of‑the‑month billing.

·         2 Box skips in total, out of the 6 a year.

 

📦 When will I be billed and when do boxes ship?

You’ll be billed on the 8th of Month 1 and we aim to ship by the end of the next month.

 

🌍 Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, book‑only ships everywhere.
Shipping is calculated at checkout. Local customs/VAT (especially in the EU) are the reader’s responsibility.

 

💔 What’s your refund policy?

Because each box is curated to order, all sales are final once billed. If you need help before a renewal, just email us — we’ll always try to help if we can.

 

👀 Will I know the book ahead of time?

We’ll tease the tropes, theme, and grayscale level before each drop — plus a full reveal before shipping so you can make an informed (or impulsive) choice.

 

📍 Where are you based?

We’re proudly based in the North of the UK. Where the tea’s strong, the humour’s dry, and the books are anything but polite.
